Panthers Can't Catch Up To Upper Dublin

Panthers watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 3-2 loss to Upper Dublin on Monday. Upper Dublin took the lead on a single in the second inning.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Upper Dublin pitchers struck out nine, while Panthers sat down eight.
Upper Dublin got on the board in the second inning when Garrett Breslin singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.
Sean Curran led the Upper Dublin to victory on the pitcher’s mound. He lasted three innings, allowing one hit and two runs while striking out four. Elijah Peck threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Alex Bugg took the loss for Panthers. He lasted five innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out six.
Lukas Nakkula and Dale Jacobs each managed one hit to lead Panthers. Garrett Schmidt led Panthers with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with four stolen bases.
Upper Dublin scattered eight hits in the game. Joey Monaghan and Breslin all managed multiple hits for Upper Dublin.
